I Didn't Know Jammidodger Did That!

What a King

We all know Jammidodger, one of the most prominent trans masculine YouTubers. His early transition videos, along with others of that generation, inspired my own undertaking. Impressively, Jamie grew that million-subscriber YouTube channel while getting a PhD in Psychology. That’s right, he’s Dr. Jamie Raines, and he even contributed a research paper on genital arousal in trans men.

Dr. Raines sampled the genital responses of 25 men, and compared them to the responses of cis men and women. While cis women tend to have sexual reactions to both genders, cis men tend to only respond to their preferred gender. Transgender men tended to respond more to their preferred gender, though some responded to both genders even if they only identified as attracted to one.

Of course, we can have much larger samples and test additional metrics that might factor in to these results. What kinds of additional studies would you like to see done for trans men? I always wonder how it can be measured.

As if this man couldn’t be more productive, Jamie even published a book, “The T in LGBT.” Have you all given it a read yet?

Take care friends,
